is it all really about handbags???

so...i thought that for my first official post, i would not write about bags.
i thought i would write about two super talents who are not only close
friends of mine, but a couple that i admire and constantly looking to
for the answers...to what you may ask??? balance and purity.
Jamie and Jeremy Joseph run a home grown Business out of Seattle.
They are the madness in my Jewelry world. And anyone who knows
 me...knows,,,that i LOVE jewelry.
Jamie comes out with the most beautiful designs fusing rawness and purity
to bring to life Organic looking pieces. Jeremy is the Stone man...and i love this guy!!
He just came out with a beautiful men's line using old solid steel peg's from railroad track's...
I remember when Jamie first came to NY looking into possibly starting a business outside her
more personalized and local production. I had the pleasure of joining her for dinner that night
and spoke to her about the business and what it meant to be part of the biggest accessories      show in the world....well, it didn't take long. Next show, she was there and knocked everyone off  their rockers... the rest is history.

please check out their site and drop them some feedback. I am a HUGE fan and own about Ten  of their pieces....

Dear Christopher:

I have one of your wonderful bags - I got it at an auction in Barrie, Ontario and was about to give it away as a gift when I admired it and decided to do some research. After reading about the quality and the fact that you were truly becoming a Canadian star of handbags, I decided to keep it for myself.

Now, what I was most impressed was the fact that it was so well made and the fact that it was leather. After purchasing several Coach bags, I am not so impressed my cloth handbags.

My "Auction Find" was brand new when I bought it, but it probably is from a previous line as I have had it for awhile, in my tickle trunk and who knows how long the charity auction had held on to it. It really has only been used less than half a dozen days, however. Now, for the disapointing part - the clasp broke! How ironic when in my reading all comments were on the quality of the materials and well made clasps.

I really don't want to give up my Christopher Kon original, but could you tell me if there is a place that I could take it for repair? I am travelling to 160 Tycos in Toronto for a sample sale next week - would they be able to help me with this situation?

Kindest Regards,

Beth

Hi Chris,
I LUV your bags. I'm a recently graduated engineer and I am presently training under a crumdudgeon Sr. Engineer who has given me a daily duty of picking up a bucket of steam from the boiler room every morning to clean his crocs! I hate the rusty bucket he throws me and I was wondering if I could use one of your gorgeous C. Kon COLAB bags to carry the steam in? Do you think the material can handle it. I am dying to use it. Let me know.

All the best..
